Actually the Launchpad uses the primary interface pins for ethernet.
The HDK does not, since it is the same PCB as the HDK for the LS3137 and the LS3137 only has the mux'd pins for ethernet.

We don't have any examples showing how to use Ethernet on the MDK. If that's what you need, I'd suggest the which is $29.99. There is an ethernet example available for this kit - and it's a newer processor than the LS20x.

Yes you cannot use both the auto-generate ECC and the Linker ECC together.
