Can you please explain the differences between LM3544M-H & LM3544M-L? It appears the LM3544M-H is going EOL and the suggested replacement is LM3544M-L but I cant find LM3544M-H online.

The output pin can be left open if not being used. To disable the output, the EN1 pin should be grounded for the LM3544-H since this version is active high. I would recommend disabling the OUT1 pin by grounding EN1 if you do not need to use OUT1…
