1). Yes same input input is routed to both outputs.
2). Both outputs are active. Through the register you can mute the un-wanted output.
Please note there is also LMH0356 with the same functionality as well. What is the reason for not using LMH0356…

At 3Gbps data rate, we should not connect outputs in parallel.
Suggestion is to use four LMH0324 or LMH0344 and then send outputs to DS25CP104 - 4X4 LVDS cross point. LMH0324 has better performance and lower power consumption than LMH0344.Also…
