Hello Abhishek, I would suggest using the newer MSP-FET debugger. An alternative would be using the on-board eZ-FET or eZ-FET Lite debugger on a LaunchPad (e.g. MSP‑EXP430FR5969, MSP-EXP430FR2311) to program the MSP430I2041 through its two-wire SBW…

If you only require one ADC analog input pin then you can use P3.0/A12, if you need more then you will have to consider using P1.3-P1.5 for ADC functionality instead of the right slider elements. You can use any remaining GPIO pin as CS for the SD card…

MArco, Most crystals have a load capacitance between 6 to 9 pF and the common convention is C1, C2 = 2*CL – Cparasitics where C1/C2 are the parallel caps and Cparasitics (sometimes referred to as stray capacitance) is 2 pF for MSP430 devices but can…

Hi Brett, You mentioned that you are using the MSP-EXP430G2 Launchpad as your debugger. I have found that this is your root cause - this eZ-430 debugger does not officially support MSP430F5xx devices - it was not designed to and is not tested with them…

I am not sure, but the PC <=> Olimex dll/firmware may not be able to handle MSP430FR5969 via CCS yet. You have a much better chance with TI hardware tools (even the low cost MSP-EXP430FR5969 Rev 2).
