Hi Sidya: The supply voltage must be 2V: according to FR5969 DS , Minimum Supply Voltage is Restrictedby SVS Levels, SVS power-up level (max) is 1.99V. So, 2V should be OK. have the complet diagram: I think you mean the simple hardware setting of…

Hello Anatya, My recommendation is to use the MSP-TS430RGZ48C target board and a sample of the MSP430FR58671 MCU. This way your customer can use the actual target device they intend to use in their product and have access to the I2C BSL.

You seem to be describing a ZIF (Zero Insertion Force) socket board, which you can use to program bare unsoldered devices. This model is what the FR5959 product page points to: www.ti.com/.../msp-ts430rgz48c You have to buy a separate socket for…

I understand that is the MSP430 device derivative but what is it populated on? The MSP-EXP430FR5969, MSP-TS430RGZ48C, or a custom-build EVM? If the MSP-EXP430FR5969 then have you also tried using the on-board eZ-FET? Regards, Ryan

Hello Srinivasan, Are you using the MSP-EXP430FR5969 (eZ-FET) or MSP-FET and MSP-TS430RGZ48C target board or some other EVM? If you do not get the prompt to update the emulator again then the update was successful. You can also try updating CCS or…

Hi Martin, Make sure to connect VCC to JTAG pin 2 for FET power or 4 for external power supply, GND to 9, RST to 1, and TEST to 7. Short AGND & DGND, make sure that the microcontroller is oriented properly (i.e. pin 1 is where you expect it), and keep…
