Part Number: MSP430F5658 Tool/software: Hi team,
We are planning to use the MSP430F5658IPZ microcontroller in one of our designs. We intend to utilize the USB2.0 interface present in the MSP430F5658IPZ to connect directly with the processor(For chip…

I'm doing multichannel continuous sampling of 60Hz signal on 8 channels, when i power up the system everything is ok and results are exactly as expected.
when i turn off the mains…
As Gary mentioned above, the easiest way to get crosstalk is to set your sample/hold time (SHT) too low for your source impedance, since in that case the sampling capacitor doesn't have time to charge.
There is a formula for setting SHT in User Guide…

I know this sounds like it should be a customer support request, but I tried that and they can't help.
The situation is that I designed a product using the MSP430F5659ipz that…

Hi everyone, well I was looking at the ti ev2300 battery programmer design files and I noticed that it is powered by a msp430f552x series processor, but from what I was seeing, I realized…
Part Number: MSP430FR5043 Tool/software: Team, In older MSP430 F5 xxx Generation (like MSP430F5658 ) there was two different driver strength available for digital IOs (Full Drive strength/reduced drive strength): See section 8.11 of F5xxx datasheet: https…
Part Number: MSP430F5658 using the MPS430F5658 we are using the sample MSP430USBDevelopersPackage_5_20_06_02 code to emulate a SD drive. The transfers are very slow with a typical rate of 330 KB/sec. During a test early on in the project it was up to 1…
Part Number: MSP430F5658 During product ESD testing a condition was found where the processor would not respond to a reset. It would however respond to connecting the IAR IED and FET430UIF interface, selecting "attach to running project" selecting break…
Part Number: MSP430F5658 We are using the support code for the USB interface on the MSP430F5658. When starting this code it makes a call to PMM_setVCore(PMM_CORE_LEVEL_2);. just prior to this call the RTC works properly and returns the current time. After…

Hello.
I saw fallowing two problems with MSP430F5658.
・I2C data dropout occurs.
・I2C signals stick to GND after sometime passed.
(Period is a few seconds to a few ten seconds…
