Hi Kato-san, We currently do not have any EOL planned for the PCM1742. Though, that is an older product that was replaced by the lower-cost, marginally higher performance PCM1753/4 family. The PCM175x family is a very high volume device, and will be…

Kuramochi-san, The PCM1755 has the same zero detection functionality as the PCM1753. The only difference is that zero flag outputs are open-drain on the PCM1755. Thanks, Paul

    Resolved
Hi Kuramochi-san, The PCM1754 will enforce a 64x oversample regardless of the SCLK/LRCK ratio. Only the PCM1753 will automatically change the ratio. This means that the THD+N will be the same with either 128×fS or 256×fS. Only the sample rate will change…

Hi George, Will the PCM need to drive the speaker directly, or will they have an amplifier? If they require a device that can drive the speaker as well then you will need to look at some of the TAS devices. The DAC features two channels, left and…

Hi Paul , Thanks for your explanation. it seems I should change PCM1754 to PCM1753 to minimize this noise by Soft Mute or add LPF on the PCM1754 output. Do you have any suggestions about LPF for PCM1754 ? Thanks. Franco
