Rajkumar, Thanks for your interest in TI here. Ucc28740 is a good fit for these applications. We do have a 20v,3A reference design pmp11451 here: www.ti.com/.../PMP11451 For the 100w application you may consider using ucc28051 and ucc28740 together…

Hi Lisa, thanks for the quick response. Can I upgrade the components and get it to support 20 volts and 4 amps? If yes, what components would they be? I did not find a TI chip that went over 3 amps. Is one being developed currently? Also USB Type-C support…

You will need a logic circuit or controller to adjust the reference, but the output voltage of the UCC28740 can be adjusted during operation. I recommend implementing the UCC28740 in a similar fashion to PMP11451 . This reference is for USB PD applications…

Hiroshi-san You are correct, in order to achieve small solution size and have high efficiency an active clamp flyback will have to be used instead of a QR flyback. The size of the adapter is dependent on the switching frequency. To achieve small solution…

Guifre, First of all, for that power level (48 W), the original transformer inductance of 1.57 mH does not sound correct - that's far too high for such a high power level. In fact, even the value of 560 uH that you actually used sounds too high. Did…
