Part Number: ADS127L01 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF6033 , , REF6030 Data converter team,
We have a customer who likes the performance of the ADS127L01, and is putting 12 of them on a board. What would be the impact of using a single REF6030…
Hi Keith:
The gain errors are actually worst with REF6030 as shown in the enclose Table . I have the REF6030 circuit wired per your picture.
Also with the data I sent to you, I have C99 and C98 connected to AINP and AINN inputs respectively since…
Hello Dhiren,
You are correct. The reference input of the ADS8860 is a switched capacitor, and requires a high speed buffer to properly drive the input. Simply connecting the REF input to a 3.3V power supply will work, but you will see a large increase…
Part Number: ADS8866 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF6030 , Hello,
We are building data acquisition system based on ADS8866 (Vd = 3v3 V analog 3V3 sampling rate 30KHZ), and external reference voltage supply REF6030 we have two questions we want…
Hi Sheldon,
You'll generally need a buffer or buffered reference IC (for example, REF6030). See the characterization results here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/t/477506
If you want to simulate a custom circuit, you can use…
Part Number: ADS8860 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF6030 , REF6050 Hello Keith,
Now I am trying to use 2 ADC to obtain 2 channel input for 2 process values using ADS8860 EVM in prototype stage.
I have connected it in the following way to use…
Balazs,
If VDDA is the source of the ADC reference then to be accurate for conversion it must be a stable source. Alternatively a bulk cap of 1 uf and a decoupling cap of 0.1uf would be good. If Vrefa+ pin is being used then a REF6030 would work.
Dear Keith,
Continuation of my previous email.
According to his datasheet, the short-circuit current limit (ISC) of the REF60xx family of devices is adjusted by connecting a resistor (RSS) on the SS pin. The short-circuit current limit when the REF60xx…
That works, I have spent the mornign trying to work out how to place components like REF6030 and OPA320 which arent in my library. I downloaded a library from TI.com but cant work out what to do with it. I tried importing components as a macro but that…
