Part Number: SN6505AEVM Tool/software: Hi,
The datasheet of the SN6505 states the following:
AKA the output of the transformer (input of the LDO) is with a 5V input around 5.2V at low currents and around 4.7V at higher currents. However...in the…
Lucas,
It is definitely the LDO that caused the instability. Adding an other 10uF capacitor at the LDO output solved the problem. Best regards, Patrick
Hi Robert
Can you help further with ref design and Transformer Design. This is for an URGENT and important Electrostatic precipitation design for Covid19 application
Is there any other TI forum like Power supply design etc where I can seek help from…
Hi Navi,
Thank you for reaching out.
For reference schematic, please refer to the SN6505AEVM. I am sharing a link to the EVM folder on TI website. This EVM supports 5V output with >400mA output current and an isolation withstand voltage (VISO) of…
Hi Mamadou,
i was looking at the we transformers and they are all 1:1.1 ( that are used on the TI demo boards SN6505BEVM and SN6505AEVM)
And you suggested to use the controller without the LDO and transformer 1:1, do you have a suggestion for 1…
Hi Conor,
Thanks for reaching out.
There are many isolated power supply solutions from TI that can isolate an input supply and generate desired output. SN650x is one such family of devices and SN6505A can take in 5V input and output 5V at 1A. The…
Part Number: SN6505A Customer wants to use SN6505A for
input : 5V to 9V; output : isolated +15V/0.5A and -15V/0.5A
Can SN6505A be used here? Also, could you help suggesting the Transformer P/N And changes needed in SN6505AEVM for the output ?
