Part Number: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Hi,
1. Device datasheet mentions short circuit current limit of +/-200mA, what is duration limit for short circuit protection?
2. Is there any recommendation for series resistor on bus?
Part Number: SN65HVD1781-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Dear team,
We are planning to use SN65HVD1781QDRQ instead of SN65LBC176QDRQ1. We have seen that drive current is 38mA compared to 60mA in SN65LBC176QDRQ1.
We understand that this…
Part Number: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD1780 I am using SN65HVD1780 IC in 24V vehicle system. my query is, datasheet shows maximum voltage rating for A and B terminal of this ic is -70V to +70V. so is it safe if A and B signal…
Part Number: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Hi Eric,
Is it safe to do short to battery(24V) test on terminal A and B. As described in absolute maximum rating voltage range is -70V to +70V.
Please reply ASAP.
Thanks.
Part Number: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Hi, team,
I have some questions about SN65HVD1780-Q1 match design as below. Please look into it and give your suggestion.
1. Below is slave side transceiver design. For master side transceiver, do we need to design isometric…

Hello team,
I am using sn65hvd1780-q1.
If I use loading circuit with 4.7 Kohm as pull up/down and 47 Ohm series resistors for both outputs A and B, then how to calculate power dissipation…

Hi, team,
I have some questions about SN65HVD1780-Q1 may need your confirmation.
1. If two side SN65HVD1780-Q1 is with different Vcc (3V3 and 5V), can it work?
2. If chip is off power and add 13.2V at A/B pin, is there any…
Part Number: AM26C32 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Hi, Staff
Q1: If Vic of AM26C32 is 0V to 5V, will VIT+/- operate without problems if it is ±0.1V?
The datasheet says VIT+/- is ±0.2V when Vic is ±7V.
When calculating…
Part Number: SN65HVD1780-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD72 , SN65HVD82 Hi team,
My custmer is interested in our sn65hvd1780-Q1.
They will use this device with Vcc 3.3V.
If they use at this condition, can they recieve 5V data? If yes, do they…
Alan,
Unfortunately THVD8000 or THVD8010 are not auto-qualified. However I think you may use an auto-grade RS-485 for TIDA-00527, like SN65HVD1780-Q1 .
