Part Number: SN65HVD1786 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THVD2450 Dear Sir or Madam, the datasheet on page 16 (9.3.3 70-V Fault-Protection, see also picture below) shows, that the SN65HVD17xx devices with fast signaling rate(10 Mbps) will not survive…
Part Number: SN65HVD1786 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THVD8000 , THVD8010 Hi Hao,
we are going through the TIDUEI9 reference design and also THVD8000, and the max data rate is 1Mbps and we would like to have data rate between 10Mbps and 20Mbps…

I use chip SN65HVD1786 in order to power line communication ;
My transmit data flows as same as receive data flows;
But a error datas appears as follow…
Part Number: SN65HVD1786 Dear Support,
I see that our SN65HVD17xx can get options to be set in J1708 mode.
Could you clarify what must be done to be compliant with J1708 Applications?
Can we just invert the Driver Enable (DE) pin of the SN65HVD1786…
Part Number: SN65HVD1786 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD63 Hi Team,
My customer want to select a chip for change RS485 to PLC.
Only for DC not for AC
Power supply :5V or 3.3V
Carrier dc 12 or 24 VDC.
Or do we have solution to replace…
Part Number: SN65HVD1786 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-010035 , THVD8000 Hi, My customer wants to put Zena_diode and 30nF_capacitor in parallel between each A/B line and GND. This purpose is to reduce noise. Is it potential to occur any issue…
Part Number: SN65HVD1786 hello,
I am working on the Power over Line which couples data and power over 2 cables. Bellow the schematic of the intended circuit which includes the SN65HVD1876 RS485.
In fact, the idea is to power the RS485 in the reception…
Hi Leroy,
This all looks OK to me. Rather than use a unidirectional diode though on the bus pins though they may want to use a bidirectional diode to protect against both polarities of transients. Do they have any specific concerns? Here is a part number…
Hi,
My customer hopes that the each output turns into Hi-Z by DE/RE when Vcc is below 4.5V.
Questions are;
・Does DE/RE pin function when Vcc is below 4.5V ?
・If above is "Yes", is this function guaranteed?
Thanks
