Yes, there are. SN65HVD255EVM, SN65HVD257EVM, SN65HVD230EVM You can choose different configuration based on your need. I personally have used 257 since it comes with two CAN transceivers. -- Kash If my post answers your questions please click on "verified…

Sumanta, You can't simply connect CAN_TX and CAN_RX and make the CAN communication. You need to use CAN transceivers to convert CAN_TX and CAN_RX (CAN signals at MCU side) to CAN_H and CAN_L in order to make a CAN bus. Since you need two CAN transceivers…

You're right. If you want to use PCAN, you need to use CAN transceivers to convert CAN_TX/RX to CAN_H/L so you'll be able to monitor CAN messages on the PC. There are multiple CAN transceivers, I would pick an EVM board to verify the design. I used…

In addition to the TXD pin section (6.x, page 9 of the datasheet) there is also a section on using the device with 3.3V MCUs in the EVM users guide, section 3.5, page 11. http://www.ti.com/tool/sn65hvd257evm -- Scott
