Hello Glen,
Sorry that the pinout is not clearly indicated in the datasheet for the deserializer. We are working on fixing that in the next rev of the datasheet. The pin assignment are in the Pin Functions table on page 6. Rout0-Rout9 are pins 27-23…
Hi Ueli,
The tolerance of REFCLK for SN65LV1224B is +/- 100 ppm. In other words, the supplied clock to REFCLK should be selected to be the equal to the transmission clock frequency (TCLK, which is chosen by the customer between 10 to 66 MHz) with a…
Part Number: SN65LV1224B-EP Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LV1023A-EP , Hello.
I use SN65LV1224B-EP, SN65LV1023A-EP and DS10CP152Q as SerDes.
This Device consist AGND and DGND. In PCB Design, Whether it is necessary to separate AGND and DGND…
Part Number: SN65LV1224B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LV1023A , , SCAN921224 Hi,
The SN65LV1224B and SN65LV1023A are located on the same PCB and receive their RefClk's from two separate FPGA IO's sourced by a embedded PLL. The frequency is 28M8Hz…
Part Number: SN65LV1224B Hello,
In SN65LV1224B, what problem will occur if not following the procedure in Figure 21. Device Startup? Is there a problem with the procedure to set PWRDNB to Low> High, after setting VDD to 3.0 V while PWRDNB is HIGH? If…
Good day Yaser,
Many thanks for the fast reply with great info. I was not aware of that App Note and it's got lots of good info.
I plan to try the SCAN921226HSM/NOPB with a spin of a test board. That will take some weeks of course; I'll reply…
Part Number: SN65LV1224B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LV1023A , We started a new project of transmission of ADC data over a link ( SN65LV1224B and SN65LV1023A).
In the datasheet, it says that the deserializer can synchronize on on a repetitive…
Hi Hamamoto-san,
The REFCLK frequency needs to be the same as TCLK frequency. As in the example you referred to earlier, TCLK is 26.6MHz and REFCLK is 26.6MHz. The accuracy of each of TCLK and REFCLK needs to be +/-100ppm. If that is the case, then…
Hello Yaita-san,
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find details about the internal fail safe circuit of SN65LV1224B. Most probably it shouldn't be a problem to leave the external resistors, but I can't confirm for sure.
Regards,
Yaser
