Part Number: SN65LVDS051 Tool/software: I have read your various application notes about SPI over LVDS. My required data rate is quite modest (8Mbit/sec) and cable length is 2m. Just how bad would ordinary (non-twisted-pair) ribbon cable be? (I've got…

Part Number: SN65LVDS051-Q1 Hello, I have a situation where one or both outputs (i.e., Y and/or Z) of one of the driver circuits of this IC were inadvertently shorted to ground. My interpretation of the datasheet is that the output current on those…

Hi Tina, One device to drive the AMC1304L25 that comes to mind is the SN65LVDS180 which has one XMIT and one RCV channel. The SN65LVDS051 has two XMIT and two RCV channels. Depending on how the layout of your board goes, there are single XMTR and RCVR…

Hi Simon, Looks like that part was never released. There are the SN65LVDS050-Q1, SN65LVDS051-Q1, and DS90LV049-Q1 though, which are automotive qualified, have the same function, and are available in TSSOP16. Regards, I.K.

Hi! I am looking for a -55 to +125 degC LVDS transceiver. The SN65LVDS180-ep, SN65LVDS050-ep and SN65LVDS051-ep looks interesting. I wonder if these are ITAR regulated? I wonder if you can tell on a general basis whether the different ratings (enhanced…
