Hi Ben,
Is customer looking for a transceiver or 2 separate drivers and receivers? For a transceiver I recommend SN65LVDS179 instead. This is also 3.3V though, so customer will need to use level-shifter as needed (reference this application note for details…
Part Number: SN65LVDS4 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LVDS179 , SN65LVDS1 Hi sir,
We are desperately looking for 1.8V supply LVDS drivers and receivers (Our device is 1.8V). We found a LVDS receiver from TI (TI SN65LVDS4) that could operates from…
1) Propagation delay requirements for cable certification are the same for all twisted pairs
2) The device was characterized with a 15 pF load. It will probably be higher at higher capacitive loads but we cannot quantify it
3) The device was characterized…
Max,
Nope, the DS8921 didn't work at the LV levels. We are going with the SN65LVDS179.
To calarify your previous response was for the SN65LVDS179 chip correct?
I will keep you informed about the chips performace once we put it out into the field…
Hi Basti,
Unfortunately there is no stand alone chip that can take the bitstream from the AMC1304L05. You would also need a differential driver to provide the modulator clock to the AMC1304L05. One possibility is to use a chip like the SN65LVDS179 which…
Hi Sebastian,
The LVDS version of the AMC1305 won't work properly with the AMC1210 - you would have to do a CMOS to LVDS conversion using something like the SN65LVDS179. The SOSR register is for the sync filter ( S ync O ver S ampling R egister). The IOSR…
