Part Number: SN65LVDS20 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS25BR120 Hi Experts, May I ask for help? Our customer have a minor concern that wants to confirm, please see below: "What is the minimum frequency that the device SN65LVDS20 will transmit a signal…
Does that mean you can't guarantee normal operation when the VOCM of "MPSoC" is at 1.0V?
Does this mean that the SN65LVDS20 cannot receive the output of the SN65LVDS20 because the VOC of the SN65LVDS20 is between 1.125 and 1.375V?
Part Number: SN65LVDS20 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS10BR150 , DS25BR150 The differential input is specified as minimum 80 mv PK to PK. If it was conforming to the Ta/EIA-644-A is would have been 50 mv PK to PK.
In my design, I have attenuation…
Hi Niels,
The SN65LVDS20 can be used as a CML to LVDS converter as the input common mode range and input Vid levels are large enough to support this type of operation.

High Speed Interface Applications
Michael,
sorry for the delay, we had a long weekend here in Germany.
I can't use the SN65LVDS1, since I need the Enable-Feature of the SN65LVDS20. Do you have any other suggestions? Some way to adapt the LVCOMS voltage level?
Regards, Niels
A differential input works like a comparator. So a high-speed buffer like the SN65LVDS20 (which is faster than any plain transmitter) is likely to have the smallest jitter.
