Does that mean you can't guarantee normal operation when the VOCM of "MPSoC" is at 1.0V? Does this mean that the SN65LVDS20 cannot receive the output of the SN65LVDS20 because the VOC of the SN65LVDS20 is between 1.125 and 1.375V?

Hi Niels, The SN65LVDS20 can be used as a CML to LVDS converter as the input common mode range and input Vid levels are large enough to support this type of operation. Regards, Michael Peffers High Speed Interface Applications

Michael, sorry for the delay, we had a long weekend here in Germany. I can't use the SN65LVDS1, since I need the Enable-Feature of the SN65LVDS20. Do you have any other suggestions? Some way to adapt the LVCOMS voltage level? Regards, Niels

A differential input works like a comparator. So a high-speed buffer like the SN65LVDS20 (which is faster than any plain transmitter) is likely to have the smallest jitter.
