Part Number: SN65LVDS348 Tool/software: I would like to know what the trigger thresholds are for the outputs: in one case, a Vid difference of 50mV is specified, in another an 80mV difference for the failsafe, and in the electrical specifications, a range…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65LVDS348 Hi,
we are using the sn65lvds348 quad receiver as an LVDS to LVTTL interface.
The EN control pin is pulled up to 4k7. All the output pins (LVTTL side) are pulled down to GND through 4K7 to ensure a known…
Part Number: AM26LV31E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM26LV32E , THVD1450 , SN65LVDS391 , SN65LVDS348 , SN65LVDT348 Tool/software: Hello,
We are willing to use the couple of RS-422 devices (transmitter and receiver): AM26LV31E + AM26LV32E.

Hello Alec,
You could use a CML -> LVTTL -> LVDS . Please see the SN65LVDS348 or the SN65EPT23 both with a -40 Celsius operating temp.

Julian,
I agree higher input common mode range would help. Also lowering the common mode impedance would help.
Using a 50 ohm x 2 input termination for each LVDS Rx and adding a large common mode cap would damp the common mode coupling you are seeing…
Hi Michael,
This is not in my particular product group (I support high-speed datapath ICs like repeaters/retimers/mux-buffers in SVA), but I did find some PECL PHYs that may be useful for you.
PECL is similar to LVPECL, but it is the 5-V version…
