    Part Number: SN74AHC139 I have applications using the old 74VHC die (04 and 139). One place has the backside to gnd and the other to Vcc. It seems to work. I'm replacing the 74VHCT04 with 74ACT04 and that one has the backside grounded. Will that work…

    There appears to be no single-gate device. SN74AHC139 or SN74LVC139A-Q1 are dual-gate devices.
