Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Could I ask you the following questions as additional?
Q1. For example, SN74AHC595 datasheet says that the Input voltage(Vi) below -0.5V (For example -0.6V) is allowed as long as Input clamp current(Iik) is limited…
Part Number: SN74AHC595 Hi Team,
The customer wants to know what the output status is when the device is not powered on.
Will it be tri-state?
Thanks
Sincerely,
Edward
Part Number: SN74AHC595 Hi team,
Understand for most TI products, there is no difference between G4 and non-G4 parts as G4 was legacy to signify green products previously. However, for SN74AHC595, there is a difference in datasheet in terms of lead finishing…
Part Number: SN74AHC595 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC1G17 Hi team,
My customer meet some the OE waveform of SN74AHC595 has a as below. Whether it will cause some risks here? Thanks.
A current of 0.5 mA might be enouch to charge the decoupling capacitor and to power up the device.
Can't you pull up to VCC?
There are devices without clamping diodes, e.g., SN74AHC595-Q1, SN74LV595A-Q1.

Hi team,
we would like to use SN74AHC595 replacing 74AHC595.
can you advice if we can do serial input and "serial output"?
TI datasheet only show serial input and parallel output.

Part Number: SN74AHC595 Hi team,
my customer is using the SN74AHC595 now. And we meet the drop of the rising edge. Whether it has risks.
based on the datasheet, we get the devices CLK is based on the rising edge. i want to know how to decide the rising…
Part Number: BQ76PL455A-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EM1402EVM , SN74AHC595 Hi
I am using the EM1402EVM and the example control software that TI provides.
I was wondering if RCLK on the SN74AHC595 must be toggled or the line can be left high to still…
