Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74AUP1G97 1) During powerup, what happens to the output of the SN74AUP1G97 when configured to be an inverter in the following example circuit? VCC=3.3V and it ramps slowly (let's say 1ms/V). The input is pulled up to…

I am seeing a latch up condition on the Vcc pin of the logic gate. To recover we have to toggle the inputs or just probe the Vcc or output pin with multi-meter. We power the logic gate Vcc through a 4.75kohm resistor. We have a delay circuit to hold…

Dear Sir: If you want a faster fall time, do not disable the output but drive the output low. This is and AND gate with one inverted input, which can be implemented with the SN74AUP1G97 (which already has Schmitt-trigger inputs). 1.It means: Use…

That ringing in the second scope capture is probably a measurement artifact. How did you connect the ground clip? What is the board layout? I guess the noise comes through the supply (3.3 V or GND) and is caused by the increasing power consumption of…

The SN74AUP1G99 has an active-low OE pin, and the output voltage must not be above V CC . Alternatively, keep the '07 and combine the two input signals with a SN74AUP1G97.

This is a perfectly valid way of constructing a three-input AND gate. What is withh all those RC filters? A time constant of 1 ms will exceed the input transition rise rate limit of 200 ns/V. Such slow edges requires AND gates with Schmitt-trigger inputs…
