    RE: SN74LVTH2245: output to output skew

    TI guarantees that the output-to-output skew of any logic device is smaller than 1 ns. In general, you get a smaller skew by using a device with smaller propagation delay, such as the SN74AXCH8T245 level shifter.

    Hi Nir, OE can be directly tied to gnd pin if the device needs to be always enabled. Tying it to Vcca is optional, and recommended only if the IO ports needs to be in hi-Z before the supply pins are stable. This is true for both AXCH and AVCH devices...

    RE: SN74LVC8T245: Is this part suitable for RGMII interface translation?

    Using LVC makes sense only for 5 V signals. Using AVC never makes sense, because AXC is faster, and better in other regards. Use the SN74AXC8T245 or SN74AXCH8T245.
