Part Number: SN75976A-EP How do we calculate Junction-to-board thermal resistance and the power consumption of this device. For thermal analysis we need this information.
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Part Number: SN75976A Dear Sirs,
My customer wants to design control board with SN75976A to replace existing end customer control board.
The configuration shows as below.
1. Any external pull high/down necessary for input and output channel?
2. customer…

Part Number: SN75976A Dear Sirs,
I had confused about the mode setting of SN75976A.
While in transceiver mode, can I just change DE pin to set as driver / receiver or there are still some pins need to be set? (page18 in datasheet)
Lester,
Apologies for the delay during the holiday season.
We don't have an IBIS model for the SN65HVD09, but we have one for the SN75976A, which should provide you with very similar behavior.
Best,
Danny
What kind of operation does the receiver input pin of SN75976 become at the time of OPEN in both? (Is it floating and become Non-reccomended?)
Thank you for your consideration.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75976A-EP Hi,
I have seen the datasheet for the SN75976A-EP and the impression that i get is that each RS422 channel can be configured either as input or output. I would like a confirmation in that aspect.
