Part Number: TCA6418E Hi Team, My customer is looking for SPI to GPIO expander, they need at least 8 GPIOs, better 16 GPIOs with 5V supply. I see we just have I2C expander, but not SPI. So would you pls help recommend if we have, thanks a lot! …

Part Number: TCA6418E Hello I encounter an I2C measuring problem while using TCA6418e. According to datasheet, minimum of fall time of I2C should be greater than 20+0.1Cb ns while running in fast mode. However, our measurement is around 12 to 14…

Part Number: TCA6418E Hello Sir or Madam. I'm using the TCA641E as an I2C slave in one of my designs. There are 2 things I need to know about the GPIO pins for the TCA641E: Before power is applied to the GPIO chip, what is the state of the GPIO…

Hi Antony, Sorry, but I was misunderstanding the question that was being asked. Please take a look at the following image which shows the MAX current consumption of the device which is under the 5mA that the customer is asking for. Thanks…

PS - From a programming perspective, the (older) TCA6418E looks much simpler to use, and is in the same footprint as a LM8330. I am leaning now towards implementing a TCA6418E (with a no connect on its center pin) to handle my several GPIO (EN, DRDY,…

Hey Bogey, "May we can fix TCA9555 Interrupt (INT) Output generated by rising only(or falling only) of the port inputs in the input mode?" Unfortunately not, this IO expander's INT circuitry is hardwired insuch a way that it will not allow for you…

Hey Rajan, Unfortunately, we do not have many 1MHZ I/O expanders that are going to be pin to pin with the TCA9535. The devices that do support 1MHz (not pin to pin) are the TCA6418E, TCA8418, and TCA8418E. Thanks, -Bobby
