Part Number: TCA9555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9534A , TMP275 , TM4C129ENCPDT , TCA4307
Hi,
I am using TCA9555 three chips connected to same I2C bus and another I2C Temperature sensing chip TMP275AID. So basically, I have total four I2C chips…
Part Number: TM4C1294NCPDT Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9555 I am trying to interface an LED display board based on TCA9555 through i2c. Used I2C0 in TM4c1294NCPDT. Configured Port0 as output in TCA9555. However the LED is not on. The code snippet…
Part Number: TCA9555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAL6416 , TCA6416A Hi,
We are using TCA9555PWR IO-Expander chip. We want to know if it can safely tolerate 5v input signals on its inputs while the chip Vcc is at 3.3V. I assume there is some sort…
Kiranjit,
It looks like the waveforms are okay except for a couple artifacts occuring on the SDA line. Are those voltage spikes expected based on the data you are trying to send? I don't think these are proper I2C signals.

Part Number: TCA9555 Hello,
I tested MOSFET functionality in using IO-Expander:
SDL and SCL scope :
we’re getting the P17 bit (‘Source’) as ‘1’ (3.3 VDC)for Source selection and ‘0’ for Sink selection.
But when…
Part Number: TCA9555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C1292NCPDT ,
Hi,
I need to know how much input supply current I can give to the IO expander IC for one channel with respect to VCC 3.3V.
In my circuit, I'm connecting I2C lines of TM4C1292NCPDT microcontroller…
Part Number: TCA9555 Asking on behalf of customer.
The TCA9555RTWR is out of stock; can the TCA9555RGER be used as a drop in replacement without modifying the PCB?
It appears the PCB patterns are very very similar.
Thanks!

I am thinking that since the INT pin is an open drain, there is no problem if it is pulled up by another power source while power is not supplied to Vcc, is this correct?
Part Number: TCA9555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA8418 Are the input pins latched? For example if a momentary push-button connected to the IO Expander is pressed (Input states changes), this will trigger the IO Expander INT . By the time the microcontroller…
Part Number: TCA9555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCA9539 Hello,
It appears that there is no datasheet posted publicly yet for the TCA1116 and I should ask here to have it sent to me directly.
