I found the source of the noise to be an on-board power supply injecting lots of noise on the bus. When removing this rail, the supply is quite clean.
Now that the waveform is a lot cleaner, I am seeing the reference voltage slightly change during communication…
Part Number: TCAN332 Tool/software: I am trying to diagnose and resolve some frequent dropped packets on our CAN BUS. I have designed the hardware while our software engineer has designed the firmware.
All our modules utilise the TCAN334DR CAN transceiver…
Hi Daniel,
Have you modified the Vcc supply rail to be compatible with the TCAN332? This transceiver expects a 3.3V input to pin 3 of the IC whereas TCAN1042 uses 5V, which is what the IWRL6432BOOST board supplies to the transceiver IC.
The internal pull…

Part Number: TCAN332 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD234 Hi Team,
my customer want to use the TCAN332 instead of SN65HVD234. The do not use Pin 5 (Enable) andPin 8 (Slope control). The Baudrate is 250kBit.
Are there significant differences that…
