Part Number: THVD2450V Tool/software: What is the pressure limit for this part? I am looking to top cool this part with a thermal interface material to a cold plate.
Thanks!
Part Number: THVD2450V Can I have the IBIS model for THVD2450VDRCR?
"Greetings Kin,
Please use TI E2E forum(e2e.ti.com) to request this model.

Hi Parker,
Thanks for the discussion and suggestion.
I neglected to mention that DE and RE would be tied together and the FPGA would control direction of signal. The FPGA I/O is bidirectional, so the plan was to tie the R and D pins together in connecting…
The SN65HVD01 would be a compatible replacement. Other transceivers with integrated level shifter are the THVD1424, THVD1449V, and THVD2450V.

Hi Neet,
Thanks for the updated information - I really appreciate it!
So with the propagation delay and rise/fall requirements of the system - I don't see any issue using this part - as you should still have more than enough margin on both propagation…
The THVD2450 and THVD2450V are different devices.
For unidirectional signals, you do not need a termination resistor at the driver, so the load is lower.
But to reduce power consumption for distances less than 10 m, do not use RS-422 but LVDS. Use drivers…
