Part Number: THVD8000 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TCAN330 , THVD8010 , THS6222 Tool/software: Hi team,
I have a question about THVD8000, could it work with CAN communication?

Part Number: THVD8000 Tool/software: Hi,TI Engineer
Can I use a common mode inductor to replace the two inductors(L1,L2) (L3,L4) here,To reduce PCB area。
Part Number: THVD8000 Hi team,
we are seeing the MODE signal of THVD8000 is off for about 2us, there is a probability of outputting a 0.5us low-level pulse from the R pin. Is there any possibility to cause this pulse?
Green is MODE, purple is R

With the THVD8000 transceiver, what should be the observed behavior for bus contention? Are the observations deterministic for all combinations of dominant and recessive bit collisions?
Part Number: THVD8000 Hi team,
my customer target to use 3V3 MCU to communicate with THVD8000, but we are seeing the Vod parameter is under 5VCC level and then it can get enough Vod magnitude.
meanwhile ,the VIH >2V is okay for 3V3 MCU, but VOH =VCC …
Hi Marc,
No problem - I am not sure why they put that in the text - I understand the confusion.
Common mode chokes are used in THVD8000 applications (or power over bus - but generally THVD8000 is better than standard RS-485 over bus) - but more for common…
Part Number: THVD8000 Hi Team,
What is the maximum transmission distance for this product?
If it depends on the speed or other factors, please tell me the regulation.
Best Regards,
Hi Rayna,
I'd change C1,C2,C3, and C4 to something like 1uF to help reduce the settling time of the signal - is that possible to try in customer system?
Best,

Part Number: THVD8000 Hello,
My customer would like know the maximim acceptabel input voltage for THVD8000 EVM. It it 100V DC restricted by 100V capacitor?
Regards, Oba
Part Number: THVD8000 I have purchased THVD8000 samples through MOUSER on-line.
So, I tried to do the measurement by Fig.7-1 of THVD800 datasheet for checking OOK mode.
But, I could not see the waveform of OOK signal on the oscilloscope.
Please explain…
