Part Number: TIDA-010036 Dear Sirs, I am interested in developing current measurement research using the reference design TIDA-010036 (One-phase shunt electricity meter). Please how can I buy or access to one development pcb?.
Thank you in advance for…
Part Number: TIDA-010243 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS131M08 , , TIDA-010037 , TIDA-010036 Hi team,
I have some questions about this reference design:
In TIDA-010243, our ADS131M08 OSR is set to 512 with a sampling rate of 8KHz, can I set OSR=256…
Part Number: TIDM-1PHMTR-ESD Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSPM0G3507 Hi team,
My customer would like to design e-meter and there is reference design in EERD.

But I think those TI components are little old for deign…
Hi CSC,
Thank you for your patience, I was able to find the site where we acquired the CTs for the TIDA-010036 and TIDA-010037. TIDA-010037 is a Split-phase metrology reference design for electricity meters that meets ANSI C12.20 Class 0.1 active energy…
Hi Marvin,
The solution you are showing uses three channels internal ADCs on MSP430F6736 for a single-phase energy meter:
line current
line voltage
neutral current
It seems that the customer is looking for a standalone ADC, please let us know if our understanding…
Part Number: ADS131M04EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS131M04 , TIDA-010036 , ADS131M02 How to calibrate the ads131m04evm offset and gain of the ADC?
Part Number: ADS131M08 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-010036 Hi there,
We are designing a particular DAQ system with 48 differential channel inputs. The boards are separated into 3 different boards with a microcontroller on each board. The timing…
Hello Amuray,
Can you explain why they need a source impedance that large? Is this an intended voltage division effect where the voltage being sensed is 100s of volts and it needs to be divided down for the FSR of the ADC or some other reason? I noticed…
Hello Glen,
No problems for the ADS131M04 to measure DC current or with a shunt resistor. Looks like a gain of 16 would be good for moving the Full scale range (FSR) down to your sensing value.
Feel free to check out the One-phase shunt electricity meter…
Hi Deepak,
This looks like a bus contention issue to me, at least for MOSI.
Deepak c said: Is it because of iso7762 output type problem.. like iso7762 is push pull? It could be because when one of the devices trying to send MISO signals others devices…
