Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
Part Number: LM5176 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-050017 , I've read the TIDA-050017 TEC Driver Reference Design. I have a TEC that is rated at 12V and 8.33A.
I used Webench Designer to help select a possible solution: https://webench.ti.com…
Michael, the TMS320F2812 device is still active on ti.com. This evaluation module, while I never worked with it, is from 2002 and is most certainly no longer sold. When products get removed from the TI store most of the associated webpages are removed…

Part Number: TPS63806 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-050017 , Hello,
we use TPS63806 to drive TEC, just as TIDA-050017's solution, found that during Vin=3.3V, Vout=4V, Io>0.7A, the output current become unstable as below waveform, it's measured…
Hi Bill:
The condition the converter could deliver 2A is the Vout<Vin and both of them are larger than 4.5V for TPS63070. And that's generally a typical value, so we won't list it for every part.
May you share details about your applications…
Hello Jeffrey,
Please have a look at this reference design. The FB is controlled in this case, but I expect that the method should work as well when you apply it to COMP. You just need to recalculate the necessary values. A software example is there as…
Hello Josh,
At the moment we do not have a buck-boost converter that has an I2C interface.
A possibility to change the output voltage of a buck-boost converter is to add a DC voltage to the feedback node. This reference design is using this method:
