Part Number: TLC5947 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC59711 I am running three chains of TLC5947 boards of this design from Adafruit ( ), each of which is bit banged from an Arduino Nano. After a great deal of research (including from these forums,…
Part Number: TLC5971 Hello
I am using an Arduino Uno to send data to a number of custom build led boards driven by the TLC5971 driver. Each board is fitted with 10 TLC5971 drivers which each drives 12 LED's (120 total/board). These 12 LED's are grouped…
sorry, my mistake, I meant TLC59711 here you can find the datasheet link http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tlc59711.pdf
thanks a lot, it was very helpful!

Hello Mahmut,
TLC5971 minimum VCC for internal linear regulator mode is 6V. Could you try to check TLC5971 function with VCC = 6V?
Or please replace TLC5971 with TLC59711 because TLC59711 minimum voltage for the regulator mode is 4.0V.
Best regards,

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLC5940 , TLC59711 Hi, Is there a limitation of cable length between daisy chained TLC5940's? I am trying to connect 14 chips using ethernet cable of 6 meters distance and encountering problems.
Hello Vini,
When the voltage on the OUTx pins will go higher than 3V, the current will still be regulated but the lower you keep the voltage on OUTx (but above the break of slope in Figure 5) the more accurate will be the current regulation. You just…
