Part Number: TLK1221 Hi support team,
My customer want to get the material for explanation for TLK1221 BER(bit error rate) ability and Test method.
Do you have any material for explanation about it? If you have it, could you please provide me?
Thanks,

Part Number: TLK1221
My customer had a question.
If TxP/N pins are short to GND, and TLK1221 try to send signals. How does TLK1221 work?
Will it break due to high current? Or will it protect by internal protection?(then, will it auto-retry? )

Part Number: TLK1221TLK1221 works find in loopback mode: input TD0~TD9 will pass to RD0~RD9 as it designed to. however, it two chips linked together, RD0~RD9 in receving chip will show different signal from TD0~TD9 in transimitter side. what could be the…
Part Number: TLK1221 I'm getting signal amplitude about 2x expcted amplitude when terminated with 100 ohm differential.
I have tried various configurations, including connecting TX lines backto RX lins of TLK1221 with the termination shown in data…
Hi Konstantin,
Yes, you will need to connect a reference clock since is needed in the receive path. Please take a look into the block diagram of the device in datasheet.

Luis
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK1221 I tested with TLK1221-DK.
Before connect with other device, I want to test with only TLK1221 B/D.
The data signal only through internal loop.(jumper pin LOOPEN set on high) But synchronize between RD and TD is not…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK1221 , TLK10031 I'd like to use the TLK1221 in non-sync mode for an application that does not use 8B/10B. What is the minimum transition density requirement for the rx clock recovery?
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK1221 Hi,
I'm not familiar with Ethernet. Now I need to send data with a speed of 1Gbps. So I think it must be Ethernet. I searched solution in TI website and found TLK1221 maybe the one for me. My question is where to…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK1221 For the TLK1221 ETHERNET TRANSCEIVER, what is the LVTTL output impedance for the RD[9:0], RBC[1:0] and SYNC/PASS outputs?
