Part Number: TPA4861 Hello,
I want to make an audio amplifier with TPA4861 on coin cell. 1W/8Ohm speaker is used in design.
How I can i manage the current to get 100 hour battery life ?
Part does not showing any electrical power consumption.
Kindly…
Part Number: TPA4861 Hi, Our customer is looking for the thermal information for TPA4861D. Thermal resistance Theta JA, Theta JB and Theta JC Can you please help us provide this information? Thank you. Regards, Cedrick
Part Number: TPA4861 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM4890 Hi,
I have one audio development with TPA4861 where I need to use a differential input. There is not any recommended design in datasheet for this, but I have seen in the datasheet of TPA4890…
Hi Gregg,
Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
You are using a TVS diode with clamping voltage = 150V, but the output voltage maximum of the TPA4861 is 6Vrms. You should use a TVS diode with clamping voltage around output voltage…
Hi, Carlos,
Sorry, I just realized the TPA4861 won't work for your application due to your low uP voltage. You will need to use one of our newer devices which have lower threshold voltages.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA4861 , PCM1772 I'm working on a design using the PCM1772 DAC and TPA4861 amplifier. My question is how to interface between them. Do I need an LPF as shown in the PCM1772 datasheet? Or can I connect directly between…
Hi Justin,
Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
You could have a look at the following devices LM4864 and TPA4861 are Audio Class AB amplifiers or TPA2000D1 is Audio Class D amplifier.
I hope this helps you.
Best regards …
Hello Patrick
I'm not sure about internal structure of shutdown, but your circuit could be similar to the real circuit.
You could have a look to the TPA4861 is a Class AB amplifier. Other options are TPA2001D1 or TPA2005D1 are Class D amplifiers,…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA4861 Hi,
I use an EVM6747 and I am trying to configure the aic31 codec so that sound would be directed to the amplified exit given in the schematics as P15: HPROUT, which is supposed to be amplified by TPA4861. …
