If I am using only 2 out of 4 channels ( and do not want to use 2 port version of the chip) can I connect only 2 channles to usb and leave the other two not connected.

can there be any problem with TPD4EUSB30 if you swap the D+ D- signals? Any specific reason why D+ and D- are specifically marked in the datasheet?
