Part Number: TPD4S311 Hi,
The typical OVP of TPD4S311 is 6V, the actual use of VBUS by customers will not exceed 5.5V, but the short circuit between 5.5V and CC pin will damage the load chip IO (load chip IO the maximum voltage of the CC pin is 4.02V…
Part Number: TPD4S311 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD6S300A , , TPD8S300A Hi,
Can the SUB1 and SUB2 pins of the TPD4S311 connect to USB2.0?
If not, why not?
If so, is SBU1 connected to D+ or SBU2 connected to D+?
Many thanks~
Part Number: TPD4S311 Hi Expert,
My customer plan to use one TPD4S311 to protect two PD CC pin. I draw the block diagram as below, Is it possible? any side effect?
Part Number: TPD4S311 Hi Team,
May I understand if we don't place the VBIAS cap, what will happen then? Do IC still have the ESD protection function or the function will be weak?

Hi Mark,
Apologies for the delayed response. For the TPD4S311 Tj is within the range of -40C to 85C with max Vconn current of 400mA. The 'A 'variant for this device can go up to 105C and max Vconn current of 600mA.
Thanks and Regards,
Raymond…
Part Number: TPD4S311 Hi team,
I am writing to confirm one question about TPD4S311 OVP. If SBU OVP is triggered, how to recovery from this situation?
thanks and best regards,
