Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2041B , TPS2044 , TUSB2036 , TPS2044B Hi,
I am probably missing the obvious somewhere. But I just can't deduct from the data sheet if the current limit is per port or a total.
The way I read it from the data sheet the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2044B I use TUSB2046 with TPS2044BD. Everything looks fine, USB devices recognised and working. Power switches (TPS2044BD) output DC5V to the USB ports when TUSB2046 send ENABLE signals and disconecting DC5V from USB…

Hello!
Our circuit abnormally operate in current limit.
pls refer to our schematic…
Hi, Sai loo,
You are correct. All those below parts share same UL report and the test module is TPS2044B, so the protection current is 5A. What's your concern about it?
TPS2041, TPS2042, TPS2043, TPS2044, TPS2045, TPS2046,
TPS2047, TPS2048, TPS2051…
Hi Ben,
According to TPS2044B EVM schematic I would say that this device requires pull up resistors on OCx pins, 10K-Ohm should do it. You could ask this to the Power Management team as they are in charge of this device. Perhaps the USB Interface team…
Hello Clement, Please contact me via e-mail – joel.jimenez@ti.com in order to send you a schematic source file.
SN75240 can be replaced by TPD4EUSB30DQAR.
The TUSB2077A only “speaks” to one device at a time, so technically there is only one device active…
Im using the TPS2044B to power everything from USB power. Their is one permanently attached device on DP1/DM1 and two other external USB connected device on 2 and 3. Here is the schematic:
Please let me know!
thanks

Can the TPS204xB family tolerate a voltage being present on an ENABLE input without a voltage on the IN pins? The Absolute Maximum Rating table in the datasheet doesn't link the max. on the Enable inputs to the voltage on the IN inputs, which implies…
