Hi,
I know that /RESET output is undefined below 1.1V, then is RESET output also undefined with /MR=Low? Or does it keep Low state?

Ryan,
Thanks for replying but after a few days of board testing it was realized the signals were driving a microcontroller whose inputs/outputs were not configured correctly, thereby causing the waveforms to be generated on the lines. Once it was resolved…
Hi Michael,
You can actually achieve this functionality by default with this device. Please take a look at the industrial version of the datasheet: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps3825.pdf . Section 8.3.4 explains how the output will actually latch…

Carlos,
It sounds like you need a reset IC with /MR (manual reset like a button) and WDI (watchdog).
I would recommend starting with TPS382x family (there are various output topologies to choose from).

Hi Paul,
PDN is connected to 3.3V directly. TPS3825-33DBVT is used for RESET. If you want to know more detailed info about the MC57xxPSIA board, please find the attached SCH.
