1. You are correct, if you cut off the 5V supply, on the EVM, the battery backup (TPS65510) supplies will be cut off too, so the XSLEEP will be low. VOUT2/VOUT4 will be cut off. VOUT1/VOUT3 will be cut off next.

We added PWRCNTON to the sequence and it still appears to be not working correctly. Linux is still hanging and we don't see PWCTRO1 going high.
Some questions:
1. Any other signal conditions that might cause this…
