Because of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., TI E2E™ design support forum responses may be delayed from November 25 through December 2. Thank you for your patience.
Part Number: TPS65530 I need to use channels 1-4, 8 only. Channels 5, 6, 7 will not be used. In order for channel 4 to operate, ENAFE needs to be high, as does XSLEEPn. Would it be appropriate to ground the VCC5/6/7 and FB Pins? Will this cause the chip…
Part Number: TPS65530 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24196 , Trying to breath life into the TPS65530. It is being driven from a BQ24196, so VSYS is 3.3-4.3V (4.3V nom). It appears as if I don't ever go into PWM mode, and after about 1mSec, I have notice…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65530 Hi,
I'm currently working on getting an old voltage regulator chip from TI to work. The TPS65530 is an 8-channel DC/DC Converter and thus quite crowded. I have not been able to find a reference design that I can…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65530 Good day Colleagues,
My customer asked a question about an operation voltage. The datasheet says, this IC monitors the voltage on VCC_2 input. the ULVO voltage is 1.4 Volts.
Customer tested the TPS65530 and he…
Hi!
It's not correct answer:
1. You are correct, if you cut off the 5V supply, on the EVM, the battery backup ( TPS65510 ) supplies will be cut off too, so the XSLEEP will be low. VOUT2/VOUT4 will be cut off. VOUT1/VOUT3 will be cut off next…
The proper power down sequence is i.e. 3.3V off 1.8V off then 1.35V off
To help manage the correct sequence it may be necessary to control this by using the appropriate power management circuit.
For example, take a look at the DM365EVM design as a reference…
