Part Number: TS3L500AE Hi team,
My customer is considering using TS3L500AE with the two configurations shown below for 10/100/1000Base-T applications.
The customer asked which configuration is recommended for 10/100/1000Base-T applications.
I think configuration…
Shu-Cheng,
The device max rating that we have tested is stated in the datasheet. Unfortunately, we have not tested this device beyond what we stated in the datasheet and do not know at what voltage the device fails.
Would you be able to use a ESD protection…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3L500AE Dear Technical Support Team,
I have a question about TS3L500AE.
Datasheet doesn't have AC/DC specification of LED.
For example, NS3L500 have these spec below.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3L500AE Hi
Is TS3L500AE LED port able to use as signal line? My customer inputs 27MHz clock signal to TS3L500AE LED port.
I think it is not different that electrical spec between data port and LED port in datasheet.

Among TS3L501E & TS3L500AE which is a better part?
Also can I use these devices as USB 2.0 switch also?
Hello, Kowalski
Because the ic doesn't support negative voltage levels. It is possible there will need to be some sort of DC biasing on the bus.
Here is a link to a post made on this very same topic. It also contains schematic drawing of a possible…

Do we have a loaner board or EVM that Adaptec can use? They would like to test our device at 1066Mhz @ 1.5V. Do you see any issues with that?
thanks
Hey Zeming, Some more information on this would be useful here. Could you provide information on the voltage range and frequency of the signals we will be multiplexing? If I'm understanding properly only pins 6 through 31 are to be multiplexed here, correct…
Hello Itoh,
TS3L500 is capable of 1000 Base-T Ethernet switching (16 bit to 8 bits).
If you are interested, TS3L500AE is a similar device with additional ESD protection.
Best regards, Kate
