Part Number: TSB81BA3E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSB82AA2B , Hello,
One customer used two TSB82AA2B+TSB81BA3E to realize 1394 transmission and receive.
About the AT questions,
1. Except to use the interrupt registers, is there any other method to…
Part Number: TSB82AA2B Hello Guys,
Good day.
Our customer is using the multi-function (pin 1) to synchronize their 8 KHz to their 1393 network. However, when they attempt to use pin 1 as an output for synchronization, the jitter on that signal is preventing…
All 1394b devices like the TSB82AA2B or XIO2213B require a PCI(e) bus. The 1394a TSB12LV32 is the only device with a simpler bus that could be used for a simple DSP/FPGA.
Hello!
I have seen the datasheet of TSB82AA2B but I still don't know how to set the EEPROM values. Can you give me an example of the EEPROM values of TSB82AA2B ?
As for the link-layer controller: the TSB82AA2B is much older and uses a different PCI device ID , so I guess there are changes. (But the XIO2213A/XIO2213B/XIO2221 all use the same ID.)
As for the PHY: the various TSB81BA3x revisions use different PHY…
Since other people might find this through Google:
To use the TSB82AA2B in a PCI Express system, you could use a PCIe/PCI bridge, such as the XIO2001.
But this combination already is available in the XIO2213B chip.
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSB41BA3D , TSB41BA3B , TSB82AA2 , TSB82AA2B The TSB82AA2 and TSB41BA3B chips work together but the TSB82AA2 has a self-id problem with TSB41BA3D. There is an errata that describes a workaround. There is a new version of OHCI…
Hello,
1) The 49 or 98 MHz clock should be supplied to terminal LCLK, this terminal is driven by the LLC, so the LLC is the one that is giving this clock, then the 81BA3E outputs also this signal on terminal PCLK, in this way the LLC and the PHY are synchronized…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSB82AA2B Can DM6437 be used as PCI bus host, to configure and control the other PCI devices(such as TSB82AA2B: 1394b OHCI-Lynx (TM) Controller) ?
thanks!!!!
