Part Number: TSM36A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPSM33625 , TVS3300 , TSD36 Tool/software: Hi All,
I found damage when I hot-plugged the TPSM33625 input. The input voltage is 24V.
What effective countermeasures can I take? Would a TVS be effective…
Part Number: TSM36A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSM24A Tool/software: Hi Team,
Our customer requires compliance with IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-5 at Level 3 or higher for both 24VDC input lines.
We have suggested TSM36A , which meets IEC61000…
Part Number: TSM36A Tool/software:
Hello,
In Texas Instruments' Interface -> Diodes category, there are ESD protection diodes and TVS diodes. I believe the products within the ESD protection diodes category are also based on TVS diodes. Similarly…
Part Number: TSM36A I have a load dump requirement. I am planning to use a bi-directional TVS diode at the power input. Can anyone help on how to find out the conduction time of a TVS diode, energy calculations of the pulse, amount of energy that TVS…
Part Number: TSM36A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ESD1LIN24 , ESD751 , ESD761 Hi Team,
i want to use TSM36A on my signal trigger input line ( works from 3.3V to 24V) for surge protection.
Do i need additional diode for EFT IEC 61000-4-5 protection…
Part Number: TVS3300 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSM36A Hello,
I would like to protect a power line from overvoltage events. Maximum expected voltage on the line is 33.6 V. Firstly I'm thinking about using SMAJ33A diode, which has Vwrm of 33 V…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TSM36A , ESDS314 Hi,
Could you please suggest Part Number from TI side and reference schematics for ESD, EFT and Surge protections elements. Our design will be POE supported and Vin voltage range will be 9.6V-60V.…
Part Number: TVS3300 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVS3301 , TVS2700 , , TSM36A Hiya,
Could anyone please suggest me a direct alternative for TVS3300DRVR?

Part Number: TVS3301 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5176 , , TSM36A Hi,
I would like to use this to protect a LM5176. The latter is spec'd to 60V to input range so in terms of clamping voltage the TVS3301 will do a great job. However, I would prefer…
Hi Kenneth and Chitharanjan,
I believe the best diode for this application would be TSM36A . This diode can handle up to 36V Working Voltage and has a typical Clamping Voltage of 57V. I agree with Kenneth on the placing of the TVS diode.
Please let…
