Part Number: TVS3301 Dear Support Team,
Would you have any comparison table between our TVS solutions and the SMA family? specifically for the SMAJ36CA where the closest solution (TVS3301) seems a too short in term of Reverse Stand-off Voltage.
Do you…

Part Number: TVS2701 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVS3301 Hello,
I would like to simulate TVS2701 and TVS3301 on LTSpice, and thus need the SPICE model.
The one available to download from the TI website is encrypted, can I get a model that is not…
Hi Kygo,
Unfortunately all but one of those parts are 36 V devices, and the highest voltage part we have right now is a 33 V device. We can currently cross 3.0SMCJ33CA-AU with TVS3301. Let me know if you need any more info or have any more crosses.

Hi Thomas,
Welcome to E2E!
The TVS3300 is a unidirectional device, so I would position the TVS3301 which is bidirectional like the SMBJ33CA.
A major difference is that the TVS3301 surge capabilities is specified according to both the IEC 61643-321 and…
Hello Ryuuichi,
These are excellent questions. I don't immediately have enough information to answer Q1 and Q3, but I can answer Q2 for you now. You can use TVS300 on both I/O and power lines. The reason TVS3301 does not list power line protection as…
Hi Monisha,
1. The board (design) does not have any SIL certification (or any other safety certification). Hercules processors can help to reach certification up to SIL3. Please do not copy this design for your own functional safety application! This …
Part Number: ISO1212 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TVS3301 Hello,
ISO121x datasheet recommends to use some of TVS diodes like VCAN26A2-03S (TVS, Vishay), EZJP0V420WM(Varistor, Panasonic), and GSOT36C (TVS, Vishay).
I believe TI's Flat clamp TVS like…
Hello,
We have good training for both ESD and surge transients available
I would say our high surge protection device would be ESDS314. Or if you want just a TVS diode we have our TVS0500 through TVS3301
