Part Number: TXE8124-Q1 Tool/software: Hello,
Is there a minimum hold time that output data on the SPI bus for this device is defined? Would this parameter be tV (SDO)? I see a maximum is defined, but we would need to confirm the minimum data hold time…

Part Number: TXE8124-Q1 Hi expert,
How does device tell whether it is in daisy-chain or normal SPI?
Do we need to always send header first, to let device tell the mode?
Thanks!
Part Number: TXE8116 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXE8124 When inputting the full number TXE8116DGSR. I get a datasheet for an 8124. I need an accurate datasheet that shows TXE8116 and the dimensioning of the actual physical part with a recommended…

Hi team,
This IC has a 24-bit register. When CS is asserted, if 32-bit data is transmitted to the device, how will it behave?
Specifically:
Will the latter 8 bits be ignored, and…

Hi Gareth,
TCA6424A is the next best option in QFN.
If you want a leaded 24-bit IO expander, consider using SPI to GPIO with TXE8124-Q1 , there is leaded VSSOP options for this device.

Tyler
Hi Manu,
TCAL9539-Q1 has the input latch feature which would solve the missing status change on MCU power up.
TCA9539A-Q1 is a 5V I2C IO expander, but unfortunately does not latch the input state.
Can the customer consider switching to 5 V SPI using…

Hi Sooraj,
This is described in the absolute maximum conditions of the datasheet. Also, I would recommend switching to the TCA9555 if possible.
If the pin is configured as an INPUT, then maximum voltage at the input is 6V.
If the pin is configured…
