Part Number: WL1801MOD Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801 , Hi, I wanted to check if there was a recommended way to carry out RX sensitivity testing via PER/FER for the WL1801MOD? Would it be possible for example to get one WL1801 to generate some…
Hi Nick,
No. CC3235 devices cannot work with external PA or FEM (WLAN Front-End Module) because there internal RF switch for 2.4GHz path.
But I am not 100% sure about WL1801, WL1831 chips because there is no official datasheet on web.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801 Hi team,
I am using the WL1801 for WIFI support. I am using the driver for Linux kernel version 3.14 and the driver is compiled and runs correctly.
During SDIO transfers between our driver and the chip, the chip…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801 , AM3358 Hi:
I am interested in using the beagle bone black as a development prototype for a design that we are doing. We need both WIFI and Ethernet. The Ethernet will be used as an interface with a separate system…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801 , AM3352 Background:
The stack for a WL1801 is being hosted on an AM3352. During a system idle mode when no data is being sent, the WiLink must maintain connections to any devices.
Problem description:
To extend standby…
Hello Neha,
Please make sure the hardware is all fine (all connections are OK, overshoot, undershoot, frequency, signal integrity, setup, hold, etc.). I would think it is most likely a HW issue although I have not run into this same specific problem…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1801MOD , WL1801 Hello TI,
My customer is planning on using the WL1801MOD in an upcoming design.
They do not plan on using an OS on the Microblaze processor in the FPGA they're going to use.
Is this a problem? Can…
