I have one of the new eZ430-RF2500 wireless development tool and I read somewhere that the old target boards (eZ430-T2012) are compatible with it (they originally work with the older eZ430-F2013 USB stick). I would like to buy some of the older target…

PERFECT! Assuming the statement "Supports eZ430-T2012 and eZ430-RF2500T target boards" is correct - and I have no reason to doubt it - this is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

TI says that "the eZ430-F2013 is a complete MSP430 development tool including all the hardware and software to evaluate the MSP430F2013 and develop a complete project in a convenient USB stick form factor." Which implies that the G2 LaunchPad with a DIP…

I think the only difference between the F2012 and the F2013 is the ADC (10 bit 8 channel vs. 16 bit sigma delta), so if that is not an issue you could use the ez430-T2012 daughterboards that TI sells for 3 for $10. http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders…
