With the twin-ax cable the inputs will see a differential signal.
The line rate is a little low for the DS280MB810 which is optimized for 25Gbps.
You could also look at the DS100MB203 mux buffer solution.

Hello, No TI does not have a reference design / EVK for the DS100MB201. The DS100MB203 is a similar device and TI does have a reference design and EVK for this device. You can refer to the DS100MB203EVK User's Guide

I would use either the DS100MB203 or the DS125MB203.
In an SFP transceiver application I would place the MB203 approximately 2 inches from the connector.

Since the customer is using 10G-KR, there is a likelihood that link-training will need to be supported, and this is not supported by our datacenter retimers. If a simple mux/demux solution is needed, I would suggest using a DS100MB203.
