Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP-GANG , MSP430F5510 , MSP430FR5959 , MSP430G2955 I would to ask whether the MSP-Gang programmer can simultaneously program 8 different target devices with different firmware? If YES, how can I know which devices are…

BTW, there is also new products in MSP430G2xx value line, with more flash/RAM than MSP430G2553. For example MSP430G2955 with 56 KB flash and 4 KB RAM.

You can't go cheaper with MSP430 than MSP430G2xx value line (for example MSP430G2955). There are also MSP430F550x USB entry level family (for example MSP430F5510), that don't need any glue logic for (BSL) flashing, just standard USB connection to PC…

http://forum.43oh.com/topic/3622-programming-a-msp430g2955/?p=35613 Just note (not related to SOIC board on linked post) that new MSP430G2xx devices with 4 KB RAM are not supported (can't be programmed) by Launchpad.

Dear Leo and all readers and supporters of TI forum, I know now (after several tests and workarounds) that at least I need a micro with 8K of flash and 1K of RAM, So my idea of using a low cost microcontroller (value line) it is not feasible. The…

Hello There is a path from the output of the regulator toward the input through the body diode of the power MOSFET internal to the converter. This path is not shown in the block diagram explicitly, however there will always be a body diode from source…

Hi Prabhu, For connecting packs in parallel, that should not be an issue. You can connect parallel cells to the same PCB. Cell balancing will take longer since more charge has to be depleted for the same change in voltage, but everything else should…

Hi Manuj, I have seen other users stack two devices, but they usually use low-side FETs do to the complications using high-side FETs with a stacked solution. A more detailed description of the DSG FET driver for the BQ76952 is shown in Section 16…
