Dear Rafael and Bernd, Thank you for answering. Actually, I am planning to buy the XDS560v2 Pro for debugging/tracing features on Hercules TMS570LC43xx device. I have a few questions more before finalizing my decision: According to www.ti.com/.…

Hi Roberto, TMS570 doesn't support EMU[4:0]. TMS570LC43x has ETM module which provides instruction and data trace of program execution. XDS560v2 Pro trace can be used for your trace purpose. The 60-pin MIPI connector is used. https://www.ti.com/tool…

In your screenshot, your transport type is configured for Pro Trace. Are you indeed using one as shown in th elink below? www.ti.com/.../TMDSEMUPROTRACE Thanks ki

I cannot speak for ARM, but here is a link to a TI trace tool: www.ti.com/.../TMDSEMUPROTRACE They refer to a MIPI HSPT 60-pin connector, but do not specify a particular brand.

Hi, Yes, the USB560v2 does not come with the buffer board. However, this board does not provide Core Trace Capabilities. You need a XDS ProTrace to do that: www.ti.com/.../tmdsemuprotrace Cheers, Rafael

Hi, The device you are using does not support System Trace. If you need to debug using Core Trace, unfortunately your JTAG debugger does not support ARM CoreSight ETM, thus requiring a more featured pod such as TMDSEMUPROTRACE www.ti.com/..…

Hello Scott Chandler1, Looks like you have done the homework already on this topic. As you rightly said XDS110 is the most simplistic and low weight emulator but has limitation in terms of speed and debugging capability. XDS200 below provides marginal…

Karla, Note that TI 20-Pin pinout has been made obsolete and that Compact TI 20-Pin is the preferred "TI" Pinout. This pinout is different from the ARM 20-Pin pinout, both by the signal routing and by the physical connector. Compact TI 20-Pin header…

Nomo, The maximum TCLK speed is quite difficult to define, given that it depends quite heavily on the HW design and debug probe used. Just as a reference, check the following page where I cover some different TCLK speeds when performing benchmarks…
