Hi Eyup,
I don't think TMDSEMU560V2STM-U supports trace on TMS570 device.
The XDS560v2 PRO TRACE supports ETM trace, and TMS570LS3137 has ETM module.

Hi,
Digital XDS560V2 STM USB Emulator doesn't support ETM trace.
The right emulator is Digital XDS560V2 pro trace: https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMUPROTRACE

Olli,
You are on the right track; the MIPI-60 connector is designed to support both System and Core Pin Trace - the latter must be used with the XDS Pro Trace (TMDSEMUPROTRACE).
What is usually done is populate the MIPI-60 during the development…
Ken,
1. Unfortunately no. The hardware does not provide any Trace capability for the EVE core.
2. The PC Trace is able to have triggers that can fence the code being traced. To set a simple range you can set the option as shown below:
By clicking…
HI,
If you are using one of the pre-configured Trace jobs in CCSv8.x and no exclusion filters to remove specific memory regions, the displayed function on the Trace Viewer is entierly dependent on the status of the program in execution.
In other words…
Part Number: 66AK2G12 Tool/software: Code Composer Studio I see the XDS560v2 PRO TRACE Receiver & Debug Probe which has a 60 pin connector. My K2G target board has a 14 pin connector. Can I retrieve a long PC trace using this? I can get the DSP ETB, but…
Dear Champs, We have a XDS560v2 PRO TRACE ( www.ti.com/.../TMDSEMUPROTRACE ). We were having some issues with it, and it shows up in the Device Manager as "Spectrum Digital XDS560v2 USB" so we loaded the firmware from C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\common\uscif…
Hello Jens,
TMS570LS1224 does not support a ETM trace port. You can use TMS570LS3137 to trace the application via the ETM trace port. Please note that LS3137 does not include all IPs available on the LS1224, so you have to be careful/aware of that…
Hello,
Can you confirm that you have a full PRO TRACE pod? It should look like the below:
https://www.ti.com/tool/TMDSEMUPROTRACE
If so, what exact device are you using and are you connected to a 60-pin trace header on the target board?
Thanks…
Wayne,
1. No. XDS200 does not have support for additional EMU pins other than EMU0 and EMU1.
2. That would be not applicable to XDS200, but the CCS/debug probe combination only have visibility on what is currently hardwired to the JTAG connector…
